Problems loading projects in Word 2016

When working with the Word Add-In are you currently seeing a notification that your project is loading? Does this message never go away or cover your project? This problem appears to be related to a recent update to Word 2016.

Please try this workaround:
  1. Close Citavi and Word.
  2. Restart Citavi. 
  3. Open the project and wait until it has finished opening.
  4. Open Windows Explorer and go to the folder containing the Word document you want to work on. Double-click the file to open it.
We have contacted Microsoft for an explanation and to try and find a better solution.
