Cloud-Projekt lässt sich nicht öffnen oder erstellen

Wenn Sie beim Öffnen eines Cloud-Projekts in den Shop weitergeleitet werden, haben Sie bisher keine Lizenz für Citavi Web.

Problem

Sie haben sich im Browser erfolgreich in Citavi Web eingeloggt. Sobald Sie zum Öffnen auf ein Cloud-Projekt klicken, erscheint ein neuer Tab mit einer Shop-Seite. Zudem fehlt der Button zum Erstellen eines neuen Projekts.

Da Sie die Beta-Version von Citavi Web bisher kostenlos nutzen konnten und eine (Campus-)Lizenz für Citavi 6 haben, sind Sie nun möglicherweise irritiert.

Ursache

Für Citavi Web benötigen Sie künftig eine eigene Lizenz. Eine Lizenz für Citavi 6 gilt tatsächlich nur für diese Desktop-Version.

Allerdings ist noch nicht abschließend geklärt, welche Hochschulen künftig im Rahmen der Campuslizenz auch die Nutzung von Citavi Web anbieten möchten.

Lösung

Zusätzlich zu einem Lizenzkauf in unserem Shop (s. unser R​abatt für Beta-Tester) haben Sie hier auch die Möglichkeit, einen dreißigtägigen Test zu aktivieren.

Alternativ nutzen Sie ggf. bis zur Klärung, ob Ihre Hochschule auch eine Lizenz für Citavi Web anbietet, den bisherigen Einstieg (bis zum 09.07.2021 ohne Lizenz möglich): Citavi Web Beta.

Cloud project cannot be displayed or created

If you are redirected to our shop when you open a cloud project, you need a license for Citavi Web.

Problem

You have successfully logged into Citavi Web in your browser. As soon as you click to open a cloud project, a new tab with our shop page appears. In addition, the button to create a new project is missing.

Since you have been able to use the beta version of Citavi Web for free so far and may also have a (site) license for Citavi 6, you may be irritated now.

Cause

You will need a separate license for Citavi Web from now on. A license for Citavi 6 is only valid for this desktop version.

However, it is not yet clear which universities will also offer Citavi Web as part of their site license.

Solution

In addition to purchase a license purchase in our shop (see our discount for beta testers), you can also activate a thirty-day trial for Citavi Web for free here.

Alternatively, until it is clear whether your university also offers a license for Citavi Web, use the previous entry point (usable without license until July 9, 2021): Citavi Web Beta.

Operation in der Cloud fehlgeschlagen

Beim Öffnen eines Cloud-Projekts erhalten Sie die Fehlermeldung: "Eine Operation in der Cloud ist fehlgeschlagen." Führen Sie ein Update auf die aktuelle Beta-Version durch (Download). 

Operation in the cloud failed

When trying to open a cloud project, you get the error message: "An operation in the Citavi Cloud failed." Please install the update to the current beta version of Citavi (download here).

Citavi Cloud storage space used up?

Some users recently received an email telling them that their storage space was used up or close to being used up. This was due to a calculation error in Citavi. If you received one of these emails, please restart Citavi 6 so that your storage space is correctly recognized. If that does not help, please install the update to the current beta version of Citavi (download here).

Speicherplatz aufgebraucht?

Sie haben eine Mail erhalten, dass Ihr Speicherplatz aufgebraucht sei? Da hat sich Citavi leider verrechnet. Bitte starten Sie Citavi 6 neu, damit Ihr freier Speicher wieder korrekt erkannt wird. Sollte das nicht helfen, installieren Sie das Update auf die aktuelle Citavi-Beta-Version (Download).
